With more than 500 worldwide installations Orad's DVG (Digital Video Graphics) is the most powerful 3D rendering hardware available on the market today.
The DVG is a PC cluster solution for scalable performance on multiple or single displays. The DVG Is Orad's hardware backbone for its wide range of products for the broadcasting market including CyberGraphics, CyberSet and CyberSport. To do so, the DVG utilizes Orad's Render Engine software acting as the middleware between the DVG and the various applications.
The DVG board is at the heart of the DVG-10. This board is highly programmable (FPGA) PCI video board.
The unique architecture provides the DVG with the capabilities of much faster rendering processes than any other rendering hardware available.
As a scalable platform the DVG can be configured with any number of chained graphical nodes to produce the richest and most photo-realistic, high-quality 3D graphics results for real-time live broadcasts. Relying on standard Nvidia and ATI graphics cards ensures that the DVG is upgradeable by simply replacing the graphic cards when needed. The DVG video input configuration provides up to 4 full-resolution video inputs that can be configured to meet specific programming needs.
To increase its rendering power, the DVG is available in a Dual Render configuration, which doubles the rendering power and achieves stunning results for OB van productions. Where space is limited, the DVG-1 is a perfect compact solution.
The DVG is available in both SD & HD configurations. An embedded DDR (Digital Disk Recorder) option can further enhance graphic and video capabilities by mixing pre-rendered animation and graphics with real-time graphics to create state-of-art graphic templates.
