Few weeks ago, Orad released a new version of its Xync infrared camera tracking technology. Xync is Orad's high end tracking system, which allows free camera movement within the studio including crane, dolly on air and handheld shots. With more than 50 installations world over, Xync is by far the most popular infrared camera. The new version of Xync enhances the robustness of the system, allows it to be installed in low ceiling studios, increases accuracy and provides better control tools for the operator.
The transition to HD opens new markets for Orad's ProSet virtual studio solution. The ability to produce from the same physical space multiple production with a very quick turn around time from one production to the other is even more important in the expensive HD environment which turns ProSet into a cost effective yet powerful HD solution.
"A year ago we had announced ProSet, our new high end virtual studio system. ProSet was warmly received by customers and since its release we are seeing a steep increase in our virtual studio activities," says Avi Sharir, President and CEO of Orad.
