| Every one of the DTS theatre playback models is Year 2000 compliant. DTS-6, DTS-6D and Playback P8 products do not use a clock to retain date information. Since the software makes no references to the current date, these products are fully Y2K compliant.
The DTS-6AD Cinema Processor has a clock function which utilises a Dallas Semiconductor real time clock IC (part number DSI 244). This IC is Y2K compliant provided that the software can determine the correct century, which is the case for the DTS-6AD. The clock/date is designed to operate properly between the years 1996 and 2095 making the DTS-6AD Y2K compliant. |
