"In 1997, we installed DTS and found that the sound reproduction of DTS is of far richer quality than other systems. Audiences prefer a DTS-equipped cinema hall only and as a result business has increased rapidly." Shashank Raizada, Delite Theatre, New Delhi |

| Choosing a sound format The choice of a sound format cannot be a casual or impulsive decision. It has to be based on facts and an understanding of what is best for the film both creatively and commercially. Here are the three criteria that we feel
should be considered:
Quality: Choose the sound format that allows the sound to be reproduced in the cinema theatre exactly as the director and sound engineer mixed it. DTS is the highest quality theatre sound format in the world and it is the only format that preserves the original quality of all 6 channels throughout the film. Just listen to a song on DTS to understand what a difference this quality makes!
Quantity: Choose the sound format that has the maximum number of theatres throughout the country. Today DTS has 500 theatres around India - this is 6 times the number of our competition. With DTS, a film will play in more digital theatres and be heard in the best possible quality by more people.
Reliability: Choose the sound format that lasts the longest. You always hope that your film will be a hit and run a hundred days or more. Don't you want your film's digital sound to last as long as the film runs! The sound of DTS stays the same without any loss caused by wear and tear for as long as the print lasts.
DTS is the only sound format that satisfies all these criteria.
