Digital Vision, the premier supplier of picture enhancement systems for film and television post-production, announced national French broadcaster France 3 has added a Nucoda HD colour grading system to its post-production workflow. The broadcaster, which has its head quarters in Paris and facilities in Lille, Marseille and Lyon, produces TV dramas, documentaries and episodes. The Nucoda HD will be used for its high quality HD projects.
One of the key reasons for France 3 purchasing the Nucoda HD was the integration with Avid products. Gérard Sissung, Manager of France 3 Lille Center, comments on other reasons for buying the system; “We tested many different machines and the Nucoda HD was the fastest and the most efficient for our HD projects. We also wanted some restoration tools integration in the same system and we were confident in the Digital Vision technology and support. All this and the open platform, shared storage and a flexible upgrade strategy made us choose the Nucoda HD.”
Simon Cuff, President and COO, Digital Vision adds; “France 3 joins other European broadcasters in putting their high end productions through a Digital Vision Nucoda HD and like many of our other clients have chosen the system due to its speed, quality of pictures generated and integration with tapeless systems including the Avid product range.”
