Digi 002 Wins Prestigious TEC Award for 2003

Digidesign is pleased to announce that the Digi 002 took the Workstation Technology category at the 19th Annual TEC Awards held recently in New York City. Several other Digidesign and Development Partner products were nominated in various categories as well.

Presented annually by the Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio, the TEC Awards honor the individuals, companies, and technical innovations behind the sound of recordings, films, TV shows, and live performances.

This year's ceremony took place in conjunction with AES on October 11 at the New York Marriott Marquis, and reflected the success of several Digidesign and Development Partner products. Along with Digi 002's Workstation Technology win, the following were among those nominated for TEC Awards:

• Digidesign's PRE and Focusrite's ISA 428 Pre Pack (Mic Preamplifier Technology)
• BLUE's Baby Bottle mic (Microphone Technology/Studio)
• Line 6's POD XT and Propellerhead Software's Reason 2.0 (Musical Instrument Technology)
• CEDAR's DNS2000 for Pro Tools (Signal Processing Technology/Hardware)
• Antares' Tube, BIAS's SoundSoap, CEDAR Audio's Retouch, PSP's DelayPack, TC Electronic's Assimilator, and Waves' Platinum TDM (Signal Processing Technology/Software)
• CEDAR's Cambridge and Emagic's Logic 6.0 (Workstation Technology)
• Glyph Trip 2 FireWire Rack (Recording/Storage Devices)
