24-bit Audio Production
When used with a Pro Tools|24 system, the 888|24 offers 24-bit recording, editing, signal processing, and mixing thanks to 8 analog inputs equipped with 24-bit A/D converters. Since Pro Tools|24 lets you optimize your 24-bit files for 16-bit CD premastering, your audio will maintain optimum dynamic range and low noise floors all the way to CD.

Each output channel offers a 24-bit D/A converter for precise monitoring applications. The 888|24 I/O also includes 8 channels of digital inputs/outputs for sample-accurate, 24-bit transfers from digital tape or digital mixing consoles.
